Tension has been sizzling in Meru County ahead of Next year's general election. This has not just been due to Kiraitu and Munya's renewed political rivalry ahead of the General Election, but majorly because one of the strongest forces there has been in Meru County, Hon. Kawira Mwangaza has also been eyeing the gubernatorial seat. Kawira Mwangaza has become a force to reckon with, gaining massive traction, influence, and followership in the entirety of Meru County. One of the qualities that have elicited Kawira this much favor from the Meru community has been her staunch Christianity values, more so her constant declarations that "service to mankind is service to God." Could this be just the leader the Meru people need? I think yes! A true leader demonstrates qualities that align well with that of the community. True to this statement, Kawira Mwangaza's behaviorism, talk, vision, and actions feel just right and utterly correspond with her peoples’. The community is in search of honesty, transparency, and most of all, a leader who steers them to the next level and yet portrays the fear of God. Our aspirant just rightly fits into this box. Recently, Kawira started the #gavananiMama campaign, which will be, if it has not already been, a massive success; particularly in helping eliminate the patriarchal regime that has dominated the Meru people for years. Looking at her strong accomplishments in the education sector, the building of new structures, the electricity plan, among others, so far, we can categorically state that she has outdone herself and has set such a high standard for her successors. Kawira Mwangaza was mentioned amongst the ten most performing representatives in Kenya and has been an excellent Women Rep the community needed. Undeniably, she will make an even better Governor!
